With over a decade of design experience my skills span from user research to strategy, wireframes to prototypes, web, mobile and visual design. I love workshop facilitation and leadership roles. I spent 5 years designing at Twitter and also have worked with clients including LEGO, NASA, Bell Labs, Richard Dawkins, Century Link and dozens of startups.
The first company I built and sold was fleetCreature, the earliest UI/UX design shop in Boulder, CO. After that I cofounded Ujoin.co, a toolkit that helps advocacy groups work towards the passage (or blockage) of new laws using open government data sets. Ujion is still thriving and growing today.Ujoin.co
I have been mentoring designers, advising teams, writing curricula and teaching UI/UX intensives since 2011. It gives me deep satisfaction to help people pursue and achieve careers that they love.
